It seems that the juggernaut of Internet services has gripped CDMA operators now, as Tata Teleservices and Sistema Shyam TeleServices (SSTL) have eyed profit in this consumer segment.
It has been confirmed that Tata Teleservices would be stepping in this sector with its new version of Tata Photon in the name of Tata Photon on Rev. B, which would be made accessible to users across 27 major metros and cities of the country on the priority basis followed by rest of the areas.
Offering broadband speed of up to 14.7 Mbps, Tata Photon on Rev. B is expected to provide large number of internet savvies quality services as equivalent to that being offered by any other rival player in the market.
While the actual market price has been kept under wraps, it's expected to be showcased in the market in the second week of September.
While the Tata Teleservices is stepping on a new turf, Sistema Shyam TeleServices (SSTL) confirmed that it would present its broadband service 'MBlaze' with the speed of up to 9.8 Mbps at the cost of Rs 2,499.
However, the launch will not be done in single go. Though it won't phase out its earlier product from the market, the Company would be directing its efforts in the direction of the new venture.
