Indian origin Doctor, Siddhartha Mukherjee, who became the first Indian to receive the Pulitzer award for his excellent work, said he shall bring his new book to public in a while from now.
The man was born in Delhi, India, and is an Indian-American Cancer Specialist. His Book "The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer", has been applauded all over the world and he has become the fourth Indian to have won this award.
In his book, he has depicted an entire journey of the treatment of cancer and the many obstacles and successes that were attained by the people involved in finding a cure for the disease. He was also featured in the Time Magazine’s 100 ‘Most Influential People’, of the world.
He said he was thinking of writing a new book, but it’s too early as of now. It would take him a little while to conceptualize his ideas and then be able to form a new book.
"I try writing in very short bursts, often 15-20 minutes, often half an hour and then followed by long periods in the shadows during which I do research and think”, said Dr. Mukherjee, who is juggling between the roles of a surgeon and a writer.
