The deadliest disease, prostate cancer is near to its end as scientists are finding ways of treating the disease with least side effects. The medical experts have informed that prostate is an unwanted lump situated near the reproductive organ of a man.

Recently, a Medical Oncologist, Joseph Pizzolato has created a new treatment called Provenge therapy for the prostate cancer patients. Traditionally, a prostate cancer patient is given chemotherapy, which leaves many side effects upon the body of the patient. Pizzolato is hoping that the new treatment will treat the deadly disease without leaving any side effects.

It has been informed that the patients with prostate cancer will be given the therapy by taking out their immune cells and converting them to protein. After converting them to protein, the cells will be re-transplanted into the patient’s body. This treatment will be conducted separately upon every prostate cancer patient. It has been reported that the treatment although doesn’t shrink the tumor, it slower the spread of the cancer.

Meanwhile, this year’s first Drag Race was conducted at the East London. The race is annually held to aware the masses about the lethal prostate cancer. During the race, men took part in 10.2km race to mark the fact that 10,200 men die from prostate cancer every year in the UK.
