‘Movember’ Moving On, Support Swelling

It has been recently revealed that more and more support is filling in for the ‘Movember’ drive. The authorities, who started this mission with the idea of spreading awareness on men’s health issues, need more support and their mission has been growing from support from all over the world.

Men have joined in for support and have left their upper lip unshaved, in the wake of spreading awareness about the disease. There is need to spread more and more awareness about prostate cancer, as it is one of the strongest forms of the disease, prevalent in men,

This also includes fundraisers that are meant for the research and development of possible cure for the disease. There is need for donation more and more money towards this so that benefit can be given to the patients suffering from the disease.

The Movember drive has grown commendably in the past few weeks and more and more men are ditching the razors and becoming a part of this drive.

There is even going to be competition at the end of the month, for who has been able to grow the best moustache. This drive has helped raise awareness in men, a that there is need to understand Prostate cancer better and need for addressing men’s health issues better than they have been in the past.

"By participating in Movember, the Australian High Commission hopes to get conversations over men's health started, educating men about the health risks they face and raising much needed funds for research, education and support programs”, revealed High Commissioner Anderson.

There is also the need for dispelling the various myths that come with this disease. It is essential that men understand the needs of their own health, and take good care of them.
