Men Should Follow Early Diagnosis of Prostate Cancer

Prostate cancer has been claiming the life of a large number of men, and if the illness can be detected early then the enhanced treatment can help in increasing the survival rate up to 100%.

The symptoms of the disease are not observed at the early stages and once the disease becomes intense then the men find it difficult in urinating. However, if a person prefers healthy diets rich in fiber and prefer eating fruits and vegetables, also does not prefer high-fat diets then the risk can be reduced.

Also, people should go for regular screening every year after the age of 50, so in case the disease is developing, it can be identified at an early stage. The experts have suggested that the men with the prostate cancer family history should go for early screening by the age of 45.

According to the data, nearly 240,890 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year, and around 33,720 will lose their life.

The prostate cancer test involves the examination of prostate gland and even a blood test, named Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) is conducted to check the presence of a protein developed by cells in the prostate. If a person’s test report reveals increased PSA levels then the person is entrapped by prostate trouble, though it may not be cancer. Both tests are essential to find out the accurate results.
