According to price comparison website, Uswitch, Apple’s iPhone 4 smartphone has not made it to the list of top five favorite mobile phones in the UK with top three places taken by HTC devices.
HTCs Desire topped the list ahead of Desire HD in second spot and the cut down Wildfire on the third place. Blackberry Curve 8520 and the Samsung Galaxy S completed the list. Apple iPhone 4 was on the sixth position followed by the Motorola Defy.
It is likely that people in the UK are choosing other phones over iPhone because of its high price. There are several more affordable options now available in the market with additional features. Ernest Doku, a technology expert at Uswitch said that the price of iPhone is the reason for its falling of polarity specially as operators are offering HTC Desire for free initially.
Doku expects the popularity to rise again when Apple launches iPhone 5.
