According to the news, it was found out that a top surgeon hanged himself due to the guilt that he has attempted some mistake in the operation. The surgeon was Alexander Reading, 45, who was one of the best medics in the UK and also a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
He has worked at the Spire South Bank Hospital in Worcester and the Alexandra Hospital which is situated near Redditch. His colleagues have claimed that Alex was one of the best doctors and he will be missed by all of his friends and colleagues. He has left his wife Sarah with their two sons.
On Wednesday, his body was found suspending from the wooden rafters in the garage of his £700,000 estate in Grafton Flyford, Worcestershire.
A hospital source said: “There are some strong rumours that Alex was plagued with guilt. Apparently he felt responsible for a mistake during an operation which left the patient in a very poorly state. It’s not clear what the mistake was or what happened to the patient but it must have been serious for Alex to do what he did.”
Hospital has also claimed that the surgeon was in extreme guilt due to a clinical error due to which the condition of his patient become worsened and lead to the death of his patient.
