Anna Chooses Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi to Frame the Lokpal Bill

Social Activist, Anna Hazare has chosen two Chief Ministers of the states ruled by parties other than the Congress; Nitish Kumar, CM of Bihar and Narendra Modi, CM of Gujarat to frame the Lokpal bill.

During an interaction at the press club, Hazare said that he has chosen them on the basis of the kind of works Bihar and Gujarat CMs have done in the field of rural development. He has declared the Chief Ministers as good only partially and will call them 100% good only when they accept the Lokpal kind of system. He said that people from all faiths and religions participated in the anti-corruption movement. The movement was not linked to any political part and his aim was not to create any kind of communal violence.

He said that the movement is completely unbiased and will remain so. He further added that the Lokpal Bill will eliminate the corruption by about 90% and rest 10% could be removed by electoral reforms with the provision of “right to reject”. He favored the need of “none of the above” button in electronic voting machines.
